I think I’ve wanted to try Estée Lauder for about 5 years, and somehow I never have. When I was younger, my mom used to use their products. I would always slap on some lipstick and eyeshadow whenever I could play with her makeup. I finally made the purchase about two weeks ago, after my 22nd birthday. Let me say right now, I do not regret it at all.
The coverage is seamless. I would consider it to be a medium-full coverage with a natural-matte finish. PERFECTION for fall and winter. This crap will not move unless you turn into a grease ball, so maybe don’t wear it to the gym (if you do that). Not to mention, it comes in FIFTY-SIX shades!!!
This foundation will pick up dry skin, so moisturizing is ESSENTIAL. You should also use a brush to apply initially, a sponge will soak this stuff up like there’s no tomorrow. However, when you use a brush, a little goes a long way. Lastly, the price point. This retails for $42.00 USD at any Sephora, Ulta, or through the direct website.
I would repurchase this foundation 500 times over. I think it’s the best one I’ve used next to Laura Mercier. If you’re looking for something that works, but maybe a little more expensive, this is for you.
